What is your process for handling partnership disputes?

We start with an initial consultation where we take the time to understand the ins and outs of your partnership and the issues at hand. From there, our senior disputes team assesses the situation and provides a clear strategy, along with a tailored quote and recommended next steps. The focus is always on resolving the dispute efficiently and commercially.

No. You don’t need everything prepared. We’ll guide you through what information is needed during the first consultation and help you structure the relevant details.

Depending on the circumstances, options may include negotiation, mediation, arbitration (if applicable), court proceedings for dissolution or accounting, or negotiated buy-out arrangements between partners.

Not necessarily. Many partnership disputes are resolved prior to litigation through negotiation or mediation. However, where court proceedings are required, we have significant experience in commercial dispute litigation.

Yes. We advise clients on structured exits from partnerships, including valuation considerations, settlement of accounts, restraint issues, and formalising exit deeds or settlement agreements.

After the initial consultation, we provide a clear, fixed or staged quote based on the strategy and complexity of your matter. We offer both fixed fee and hourly billing options, depending on what best suits your situation. This ensures flexibility and full transparency before any work commences.
